Missions: think befor you shoot

Missions could have limited weapons, like a set number.

The use for it to make missions require more thinking would be if some walls needed certain weapons to be destroyed. Like you would have to go up on a platform and drop down a grenade behind a wall because the wall can’t be blown up from the front.

Or range weapons for a target far away to open a door. Electric weapons to power an elevator. Missiles to blow up buildings. And maybe stealth weapons. And maybe a laser that could reflect of some surfaces.

All ammo left after missions finish would give bonus points.

Maybe even a medal system for there you get gold for keeping allot of ammo.

  2. Nice idea, since CA3 already has an accumulative weapon system (ie. 10 bullets) rather than what it had before which is a ammo bar. This makes things much more fun especially if weapons or ammo is limited on certain levels, you would have to use the ammo very carefully.

Sometimes using micro management and saving your bullets for a more necessary time is more fun and challenging than just having heaps of ammo and weapons and blowing each other up.

Of course that's what Chase Ace was about, but with the new series installment (which I hope will have CTF and all those team-based modes) the game will be more tactical, involving strategies, also having a limited weapon selection and a scarce amount of ammo will make the game more fun.

For you ideas, very good stuff you got there, hopefully they will be taken into consideration. How do you get these ideas? Must be from the numerous games you play :)

Hmm, I WOULD like to shoot a trigger to initiate a piston which crushes some enemies, or creates some bombs that go boom on the enemies, rather than just wasting ammo for em.

  4. Ah that sounds awesome GrAVit, the trigger and piston crushing idea especially :P that would be really cool tactic to use while on the run or to invoke an enemy into action. Make the game more interesting, especially in multiplayer - this will be a cool feature.
