Howbout this weight sensitive trigger, that you gotta stack like a number of boxes or ships on it for it to turn on, and sometimes you would have to shoot the stuff off it to deactivate it! And on some missions, you would have to choose a light ship so you wouldn't trigger all the trap weight triggers!

<description>&#60;p&#62;Hi guys, What do you guys think about Ads on the website? Just simple banner ads, nothing special. And since there's only a small community, whenever we come on to visit the forum, we can optionally click the ads, to help contribute a small dime to CA.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I see this as a great way the community can help CA, since we're not a huge forum where everyone has preferences, I realised we all want to contribute to one goal.. and that's to get CA on it's feet so it can benefit all of us in the long run.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So how about it? Putting a few banner ads on the website to gain some resources. I know it won't be much, but it would surely help towards a few coffee's for the CA team every so often.

&#60;p&#62;check here and here, a transparent thin layer encompassing the explosion shoots out just before the fire does, this doesn't sound too hard and maybe would make the explosions look more awesome? &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;second vid is just-as cool but is hit by a missle instead of C4, and has a slight smoke before fire erupts, so either way it could make the explosions more awesome and realistic&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;This might sound a bit absurb, but what do you guys think about a light-weight operating system that runs off a CD or USB and is primarily designed for playing the Chase Ace game?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;To make this brief as possible, you will be able to plug your USB into any computer or insert a CD, and before the ordinary operating system boots up, a virtual system is loaded giving you a simple GUI like an iPad basically, with only icons to Chase Ace 1, Chase Ace 2 + Deluxe (Demo), and Chase Ace 3 (near future) you then select it like you would in a Windows OS, and start playing!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Then when you're done playing, click Shutdown, your CD tray will be automatically ejected. Or you can safely remove your USB. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This means you can play on-the-fly, eg. insert the CD at school, friends house. and start playing without any installation requirements!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This also means, you do not need a hard drive. It runs purely off memory (RAM), so you could find an old PC in your shed with a CD-ROM (no hard drive required) and insert the CD and start playing...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#60;em&#62;...This goes without saying you can pick any box off the street that has a CD-Rom and does or even doesn't boot up or is broken in somewhat way based on software defects &#38;#38; not hardware [BSOD, corrupt hdds, registry errors, missing critical files, corrupt windows, some corrupt drivers etc. as opposed to broken video card, incompatible ram stick, defected rom laser etc. respectively], and you have your own specialized CA arcade gaming box! &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;In layman's terms: the technology I use to make this CD is what computer techies use to recover files from OS's that will not bootup, hence a virtual OS is booted off a CD/USB using pure memory despite how the OS wants to respond, but in this special case you don't even need a hdd to play CA!&#60;/em&#62;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It will be based on the Windows XP operating system, meaning no compatability issues! Using a fully stripped version of the OS without any win apps etc. except the core windows code to play the game! &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Thanks to the ultra slim spec requirements of the Chase Ace series, the technology I'm using to create this gaming platform meets the requirements of the recommended specs.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Last few clarifications, this is not an operating system installment - simply because installing the OS would take longer than downloading/installing it manually eg. pointless&#60;br /&#62;
This is also not a modified version of XP which replaces GUI etc. like some fan-based OS's, nor is it a stripped down version tiny os, it's a virtual temporary OS. taking a different approach for convenience by running off a CD-ROM/USB using no more than one RAM stick. Meaning you can play anytime even when your computer breaks, long live CA.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So finally, I would like to hear your opinions on this idea, not sure if I've had enough sleep, but maybe you can shine light on how effective this idea will be. Maybe just installing the demo the normal way is more convenient? and this isn't necessary? feedback appreciated.

&#60;p&#62;We all know the staff here are second to none when it comes to developing games! During the easter break, they've developed a little online flash game for us to enjoy.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;As stated on their twitter, this game is still in BETA development, and allows you to input your email so that when the game goes live you will be notified.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The graphics are not bad, cartoon-based game, there's audio included.&#60;br /&#62;
I won't spoil the concept of the game or any other details, will let you play for yourself. The game doesn't take long to load at all, and no registration required so feel free just to visit the site and play straight away.&#60;/p&#62;

maybe they need more ideas for flash games? haha, this can also be a space for you guys to freely post your most favourite online flash games so we can all play and enjoy, and also so CA staff can be more ideas on flash games. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;on a side note; they should make a promotional flash game, similar to Chase Ace 1, but with low-level graphics, and basic concept of CA series, with only a few weapon upgrades, with the basic ammo/shield zones and boxes, and some NPCs - once CA3 is near, then write at the end, &#34;to play a full-featured game visit ChaseAce.com to download the demo of our new CAOWL&#34; or something, also show screenshots so people want to play the real thing, didn't consider this before because I didn't know they were good flash designers.

All you had to do was really the main objective but the subjectives were there if you wanted to do them and doing the subjectives also got you more cash.   &#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;It's the beginning of March, and the private closed-alpha test is still in its vault. I've contacted the Chase Ace team directly (no middle man this time) and got a friendly response from them.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Rest assured all our ideas and suggestions have been taken into consideration, everything we post on the forums is looked into, so remember everything you write on here changes the future of CAOWL!, you're not just posting to a board where only a couple of people will converse as you may think.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;But typically resources are very limited, and only features that are fundamental to CAOWL's release shall be implemented or considered for implementation, ie. some of our far-fetched and cutting-edge ideas sometimes can't be implemented without the necessary programmers.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I have some news about an awesome new feature that's being developed as we speak but it is awaiting the public non-disclosure agreement (basically meaning I can't post it until I'm told I'm allowed to), briefly; its not just a small feature that we've been discussing in the past few days but rather a core feature which will make the game much more crazy in terms on gameplay environment! &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;As for the launch, it won't be on our doorsteps on any exact date as the alpha test release date is hard to predict since it's missing features that make the game 'complete', but I'm trying to convince the coders that we should be able to test the game regardless since It's just an Alpha and not even a Beta yet :) And we will be happy with what we got, as testing the unfinished game alone fulfills our dreams. &#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;An evil cooperation have taken control over the health and ammo regenerators in order to at a later date charge for what have previously been free in the galaxy. You're mission is to take back control over the &#34;power plants&#34;/generators that power the health and ammo regenerators platforms. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The mission: &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This could be that you had to take out all the guards around the &#34;power plants&#34;/generators. If there is more then one (like one for the life regenerators platforms and one for ammo regenerators platforms) there could be one mission for each regenerators. There could also be multiply generators for both the health and ammo regenerators platforms. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The weapons:&#60;br /&#62;
As ammo regenerators platforms don't work, my idea of picking up ammo/weapon from destroys enemy ships get in to play again. You could destroy one ship by pressing a button so a platform destroy it at the start of the mission and from there on the mission us my other idea &#34;think before you shoot&#34;. For each enemy you destroy you get new ammo or new weapons. To kill the first enemy with a platform there could be stealth segments there you don't have any weapons/ammo.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The enemy:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Enemy close to the regenerators will have a higher % of life or ammo depending on what generator they are close to as they have been exposed to it's power for some time so this will not work on you. There could be a mini bosses at the end of the each mission that would come out and fight you then you taken out all the other enemy ships. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The choice:&#60;br /&#62;
(this is if you can chose mission)&#60;br /&#62;
If you fix the ammo regenerators platforms first you will have them working on the mission to take back the life regenerators. And the other way around if you decide to take back the health regenerators first. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There could also be side mission for example to take out enemy camps around the regenerators to they all not come at you at once then the alarm goes off inside the generator main room. This would only be a submission.

&#60;p&#62;If users would like to see the old original posts, they can navigate backwards to page 1, shouldn't be the other way around. &#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;    &#34;Throw out the galaxy there is boxes everywhere, I want them gone.&#34;&#60;br /&#62;
                                                                              -Anti-box man &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;So this &#34;anti-box man&#34; have hired ships (cleaners) to destroy all boxes they can find. They do so by using box rockets. Thees rockets will only hurt and explode on in-pack with a box. This weapon will heat seek it selfs to boxes.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Enemy type: Cleaner&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Will go away (fast) from battle as they have no weapons and is also because of this is not hostile. You also don't need to hurt this ship to hack it. Killing this enemy will drop the &#34;box rocket&#34; weapon. It can not be found in boxes. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now to use thees together:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;One way you can hack that ship to take it to a no weapon area, there non of you're weapons would work (they would not fire) so you would be defenseless against any ships in there. But maybe thees ships is stationed near boxes so then you go in there with you're hacked ship and you can then use the boxes close to the enemy ships to take them out by shooting box-rockets and the blast radius would take the enemy ship out as well.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;An other way could be to clear the way for a cleaner. There could be a super guarded place there enemy ships would shoot even there own kind you cant just fly in there with you're low-on-hp cleaner ship. Normally a cleaner would not even go close to this area but if you kill the guards and then hack the cleaner you can take it inside. With in this super guarded place there are force fields that will trigger turrets if they detect that something is hacked. So then you get in there you have to release the hacked cleaner. And inside there could be boxes stacked around some power station. So the cleaner will just do what it dose best and shoot at the boxes and at the same time destroy the power station. Now you can progress.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;A way to find weapons:&#60;br /&#62;
Enemy could drop the weapon they are using, but you better kill them fast as then you pick the weapon up it will only be as much ammo as the enemy ship had left before you killed it.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Box-rockets will regenerate as they only explode on contact with boxes. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Will make images later if it is hard to understand.
