One way would be to hurt him and then hack him and use him to "open/turn off" what ever you need to get past. If you killed him, the thing you are trying to open/"turn off" would open/"turn off" by it self as a fail safe. This would be because if the one whit the key were to be killed all the other enemy ships would not be locked out. </p> <p>But killing the "key ship" would also start the security system and turret would come up from the ground guarding the entry until a new "key ship" are spawned/crated. During this time you could progress but you have to kill all security first. A similar system could work in CAOWL there you not necessarily need to get a new ship every time you kill a boss but you could, like in Lego racer get their parts. So if a boss have a nice looking painting on them you can have that. Also enemies could have nice looks and you could get the same after you kill lets say 10 of them or more.</p> <p>Also thees could have stats boosts.
