“Matemaslik” Hits the App Store

Not Chase Ace related at all, but still, Tobias spent the evenings of his paternity leave building “Matemaslik” (~”CandyMath” in Danish) – a silly math game for the iPad. It’s iPad and Danish speak only – so far – but it’s free, so give it a try.

Getting Ready for GDC

In case you’re all wondering what we’re doing, here’s an update on exactly that.

We’re working like crazy to get ready to pitch the game to publishers at GDC from February 28. We’re flying out to San Fransisco next Friday and until then we’re running around like crazies, booking meetings, preparing powerpoints, recording gameplay videos, preparing printed presentation booklets and stuff, while we’re completing two really cool Flash games for a client.

We also recently went to Hamburg for a few days to participate in the Casual Connect Conference. Here we met with a lot of nice people, heard a few great talks and drank a few cold ones. It lead to a couple of good contacts on exiting future stuff.

So, in short, all is well and we have high hopes for this year!

Anyway, back to work!

A couple of paint-overs showing examples of how we want the light to end up looking in the game.

The images are screenshots from the game that have been painted over in Photoshop in order to depict the final look of the light and effects. Images like this are used by engine guys to code the right kinds of shaders to achieve the look…
